When you think about it, the housing market is only going to get better over time. When there is an abundance of an item (in this case houses) and few people that want them, the price will drop. This rule of supply and demand applies to everything including houses. I try not to get caught up too much in the whole doom and gloom attitude that gets projected at the public. You’re 100% right, now is a great time to buy!

  2. Hi Todd,
Thank you for your comments. Isn’t it ironic that buyers are reluctant to buy in a “buyer’s market?” Their lack of urgency misses the major point of a buyer’s market, that is, the market forces favor the buyer-side in the purchase/sale equation. Negotiation leverage clearly places the buyer in a position of strength. As we have said, in five years many, many people will lament that they did not buy a home in 2009.

Look forward to hearing your comments in the future.
