Well I hope you all have enjoyed our week of posts so far. I’m back up to give you summary of Foster City, home to the world headquarters of VISA International and local favorite among outdoor enthusiasts.
What makes Foster City Great?… Orderly neighborhoods, water front sites and excellent community services to star t with. The city has more parks per capita than any other city in California for a total of 19, which occupying more than 100 acres. There are public tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, basketball courts, and rollerblading/biking trails along the San Francisco Bay for use by residents. Also, the city maintains a man-made enclosed lagoon system for electric, wind, or manpowered watercraft.
So, what’s the bad? Again, landfill scares away some buyers, and Foster City is also plagued by cooler weather and windy conditions, as well as limited freeway accessibility.
Sounds good? Take a walk through Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park and you’ll start to get a feel for the city.
