San Carlos Homes

SanCarlos
In case you are just joining us this week, let’s recap. Raymond told you Monday about San Mateo homes, Rebecca told you all the positives and negatives of Redwood Shores real estate and today I am on deck to talk about San Carlos.

San Carlos, or “The City of Good Living”, keeps a small town feel throughout its downtown and cozy neighborhoods. The city has done an excellent job of attracting fine restaurants and local businesses to the Laurel Street area that nicely compliment the excellent schools and community services offered. The weather is warmer than in neighbor Belmont and the mature landscaping and many walkable neighborhoods make it a local favorite.

As for the negatives, there is no convenient big box shopping for residents and freeway access is limited. More recently, we have also seen that the city’s financial situation is deteriorating.

If you are considering San Carlos, take a walk down Laurel Street next Saturday and you’ll quickly know whether or not it’s right for you. Long time resident of San Carlos? More reasons to love it? Let us know!
