This recipe is always a favorite at our parties. Hope you enjoy!
- 1 lb. medium shrimp
- 8 oz grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ to 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (according to your taste)
- Black pepper –few shakes
- Mayonnaise
Chop shrimp in a food processor. Add cheese, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Mix. Add just enough mayonnaise to bind together and make it spreadable. Serve with crackers, (I like sesame toasted thins). For a hot appetizer, spread on baguette slices and broil until bubbly. You can also add finely chopped celery or green onions if you like.
