North Shoreview consists almost entirely of boxy cottages less than 1150 sq.ft. with 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, gas wall furnaces and an attached 1 car garage. Mostly built in the 1940s on small 5000 sq.ft. lots, this neighborhood is minimalist housing for the entry level, economy-minded home buyer. Highway 101 traffic noise is an issue even though a separating sound barrier wall has been constructed.

How Much are North Shoreview Homes?

Priced comparably to Friendly Acres in Redwood City, North Shoreview has better curb appeal and better school testing scores. Most North Shoreview single family homes sell for between $400,000 and $600,000.
