Parkside, just south of South Shoreview, was built in the mid-1950s and displays genuine improvement over the earlier built homes north of it.

San Mateo’s Parkside neighborhood is bordered by Highway 92 to the South, Roberta Drive to the East, Lodi Ave to the North and Highway 101 to the West.

What Types of Homes Can I Expect in Parkside?
Averaging several hundred square feet larger than South Shoreview homes, the mix of 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car-garage contemporary and traditional ranchers with central gas heating offers more amenities at a slightly higher price. A small patch of “knock-off” Eichler homes can be found here as well.
How Much are Parkside Homes?
While Parkside is the most costly neighborhood east of Highway 101 in San Mateo, it is at least 15% less costly than bottom tier, entry level housing located in Menlo Park nearest Highway 101. Parkside homes sell for between $450,000 and $650,000.
